President Biden’s and Congressional Democrats’ Leadership Will Lower Costs for Workers and Families, Boost the Clean Energy Economy, and Combat Inflation
Madison, Wis. – For Our Future Wisconsin State Director Peter Drummond released the following statement today, celebrating the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, which will now head to President Joe Biden’s desk to be signed into law.
““President Biden and Democrats in Congress have delivered for the American people. The Inflation Reduction Act will combat inflation, lower the cost of prescription drugs and health care, and boost our clean energy economy while addressing the climate crisis – all paid for by making big corporations pay their fair share. It is a historic achievement and a step forward for working people across Wisconsin, and for the future of our country.
