WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, For Our Future Executive Director Sky Gallegos issued the following statement endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for president.
“Vice President Kamala Harris has spent her career as a champion for working families. As Vice President, her extraordinary leadership alongside President Biden has already delivered increasing economic strength and wages, record job creation, lower prescription drug costs, more accessible health care, and as our next President, she will do so much more.
“The contrast between Vice President Harris and Donald Trump could not be more clear. This election will be between a champion for working families versus someone whose goal it is to give tax breaks to billionaires at the expense of the middle class. A leader committed to protecting freedoms and reproductive rights versus someone obsessed with taking rights away. A prosecutor versus a criminal.
“Kamala Harris held predators, business cheats, and criminals accountable in court as a prosecutor, and now she’s ready to defeat one in November.
“Vice President Harris is the right candidate to meet the moment to defeat Trump and his dangerous Project 2025 agenda. She will be a President committed to advancing shared economic prosperity, strengthening public schools, securing social and racial justice, and protecting the environment.
